I need to remove the battery tray in my 66 for a repaint.

From what I can see 1 out of the 3 bolts are accessable while it looks

as though I'll have to remove the inner fender well to get to the other 2.

Any other way than that?

Thanks in advance.:w

I replaced mine recently and just unbolted it from the frame.

I didn't have to remove anything else.

Thanks for the quick reply Tigernut...but I cannot see how to get to the two
bolts on the frame....did you get to them from inside the engine compartment after
removing the battery?

You may have to remove a horizontal metal splash panel.

Thanks 67Heaven...if I had a choice between that horizontal piece or the the inner
fender I'd choose the small horizontal piece...the side pipe may be in the way...
but I've taken that off a few times anyway...I have to install the fiberglass sheilding
on the side pipe cover on that side also, so I may as well do everything at once.
Thanks again to everyone.

Hi!

Anytime that I do any work on an un-restored frame I spray plenty of good penetrating oil for a few days prior to bolt removal.

Good advice 61 Silver...my bolts will need a turn on the wire wheel to get rid of the rust as well. Thanks.
