Help - Oil stain on Shale vert top

Somehow (I think I found out how) motor oil dripped from my overhead storage in my garage onto the side of my new 04. Most of it was on the paint which came off with no problems BUT I have a stain on the convertible top (Shale color). Have tried several cleaners so far. Does anyone have any suggestions?? Helpad ad :bang

Go to the dry cleaner or a professional detail shop. They should have a chemical that can lift it. If it was mine I'd try some Go-Jo hand cleaner first.

HI htere,
I would check on the Raggtopp cleaner that is available at the Corvette museum website. www.corvettemuseum.com
This cleaner and protectant will take it out, and it is factory certified.

99.9% gone

Thanks for those of you who offerred advice on removal of stain. I have removed about 99.9% of it using combination of GoJo Hand Cleaner and something I found in my closet - Scud Remover - dont know where it came from but it worked miracles. Working on final little spot which is half on underside and half on top so hard to get to.
