Help please

Does anyone kow how to replace the C3 corvette window regulator spring ? My car is an 82 with electric windows. the window spring regulator broke and fell off.
My saturday corvette work has come to a halt. This spring seems to be very hard to get on the way I am attempting it. So much so I can't seem to get it
on. Help Please if you have knowledge of the springs installaltion.
