HELP with 1972 corvette

me and my dad can't find the ground wire in our 1972 corvette. our blinkers do not work and all the fuses and switches and everything is good. we have tested and are preety sure there is a short. we are quite sure it is in teh ground wire. where is it located, any help would be nice.

I'm not sure on the 72's, but on the older ones there's a 12 guage wire in the harness down by the starter with a big eye on it that some people mistakenly put on the solenoid. It should ground under a starter bolt.
