Help with Alarm System

I was wondering if anyone is having a problem with their alarm system on their 81 also. Sometimes when the door is closed hard enough to shake the car with the doors locked the alarm system will sound until the door is unlocked. Now the for the question: Is there a way to turn it off??? If not how can it be unhooked???

I belive the "courteusy light" fuse controls the alarm. Pull it and it will be dis-abled, but so will your interior lights, cig. lighter, and some other stuff.

You may just have one of the switches going bad. I'm not an electronic wizz on these, but you can buy new door switches pretty cheap from some of the catolog supplieres. Check "Zip Products"
