My check engine light came on so I brought up some codes that I need some help with. Codes PO160 and PO161 states O2 sensors for bank2 sensor 2-b. What side of the engine are these sensors on? The other code is P1571 ASR desired torque-c. What is an ASR and where is it located.? Is it an easy fix? The last code is BO361 which states Left Actuator short to ground. What is it, where is it, and is it an easy fix? All help appreciated

HI there,
First, the H02sensor, bank 2 sensor 2 is located under the car, in the H converter assembly.

If you reference this link, this is the exact routing of your sensor wiring harness down to the sensor, which is located on the passenger side of the H pipe. This would be the sensor you would be replacing, if it is setting a code, which it is in this case.
Your B0361 is for your drivers side actuator, in the CJ2 dual zone climate control. You can try to remove the #27 mini fuse under the dash board, at the passenger side fuse panel, and see if this will reset your actuator. Sometimes you may need to rehome the system if battery power drops off. If not, the actuator is about $50 and takes about 2 hours to install. You must remove the upper IP dash pad to access removal.
As for your 1571, as long as this code is H only, and NOT a C, you can disregard it. This is a given programming code for the 97 model year only, as long as it is a history.

code 1571?

The code is coming up with a "c". What does that mean and what does ASR stand for?

Hi there,
Your 1571 is the torque requested circuit, and it shows an incorrect feedback to the PCM.
This is an in depth diagnostic, and would be very hard to check out over the net, as you would need an analog oscilloscope, and alot of patience.
I would say, if I was to guess, you may have a problem with your ABS/ASR computer.
ASR is acceleration slip regulation.
