He's been waiting for a ride for 3 years!

Today I took my 8 year old nephew for his long awaited ride in the just (almost) finished 61. He has been patient but persistent about getting his ride. He had a grin from ear to ear as we backed out of his driveway. My wife snapped off a few pics. His eyes lit up when I goosed the throttle a couple of times and he instinctively went for the grab bar as we accelerated. He was thrilled to get his ride and I was thrilled watching his excitement. This really made my day.

That is REALLY cool. What a great memory. The reason why I always wanted a Corvette as a kid was no one in my neighborhood had one so even riding shotgun was out of the question.
