Hello all. Been reading through here for quite a while and thought I would post, especially since I need some help!

I recently bought a 1979 Corvette for my wife as it was the car of her dreams (sorry, but I am more of a Poncho guy;) ).

The car is mechanically sound, but the ones problem I noticed when going through the car this weekend was that the metal frame is delaminating from the glass on the right front corner of the driver's side t-top.

I have used fast cure urethane before on something like this, but wanted to know if there is something better (short of rebuilding the whole top, or buying a new one).

Anyone have experience with this?

check e-bay you might be able to find just one.

I've always just exchanged it for a new set, have you tried taking it to a glass shop?

I tried the fast cure urethane, and things turned out perfectly. You'd have to break the glass to get it to seperate. It fits just like brand new.

Thanks for the help though!:)

I'll have to remember that fast cure urethane.

thanks.
