The two inner lights don't come on. The outer lights (doubles) work both on high and low beam but the center lights never come on. I've removed one of the bulbs and tested it with a battery OK. Also they have three prongs but only the outer two are being used. Wiring at the bulb looks good and the plug looks OK and fits tight on the prongs. Is there a relay or something somewhere that could be bad??? Odd that both of them don't work.

Thanks for any ideas.

Bill, i believe you have the wrong bulbs in the center two lights. the high beams should only have two prongs which match your plug. if you check the plug i am sure you'll find one is power(on hi-beam) and the other is for the ground.
use the correct hi-beam bulb and you should be working right again

hi beams

Hi Robin,

Thanks for the tip. I believe you're correct for sure! I don't know why I never thought to put a voltmeter on the plug to check the voltage. After you replied I couldn't believe I didn't check that, sure enough there's 12v there. Somebody must have put those bulbs there to fill up the holes!!!!!!! Take care and thanks.

Bill
