high oil pressure question

I just bought the car and I have a high oil pressure reading. The pressure is reading 127. It has been going 127 and staying there at Idle and cruise.:confused

Most likely a sender problem... in fact if I remember correctly if the circuit is open (as in disconnected at the sending unit) the gauge will indicate full scale. The DIC recieves the same input so hence the high pressure indication. The sending unit is where I would begin trouble shooting, check fo a loose or disconnected wire.
