Regarding the 85 MPH speedo in a 1980. Can the existing speedo be re-done to read higher like the early Vette’s with their 160MPH? Or something close? I think I saw an ’80 recently on eBay with a 140 MPH speedo. Any ideas where a similar one can be obtained? Thank you

The easiest and most economical way to do this is to call Red Line Gauge in Tennessee...1-800-375-2310. You simply send them your speedo and $57.00. They will send you back a speedo with 140mph face plate. I have one and love it so much better. They are very friendly, so give them a call. Don't pay for a brand new one from the big vette catalog houses for $150.00 and up. A used speedo with new face plate works just fine. Also, they will ask you what mileage you want on the speedo they send you.
