66 coupe,72 vert,
Just replaced my 40 year old holley with a new out of the box replica. Upon completing installation I now can not get the car to start, as though there is some sort of fuel starvation. Car cranks normally but will not turn over. There is fuel present when looking into the top of carburetor. The choke is adjusted correctly and the possibility of flooding has been considered.

Are you sure you have spark?? Is the carb the only thing you did and did you disconnect anything at the time that would keep you from having spark, and maybe forgot to reconnect??

Are the floats adjusted, is it pouring gas into the manifold

My suggestion is forget what you did and start with basics,

Does it have spark? Does your car have a TI system or points

Pull one of the plugs and just confirm if they are soaking wet,

Good Luck ,

Just a quick note ,Dont get frustrated with it, We will figure it out

Do you see fuel from the accelerator pump squirters when you move the throttle linkage? Are the idle mixture screws set approximately 1-1/2 turns out from lightly seated? Where did you get the carburetor?
