HELLO, i am looking for owner's feedback on holley carbs. are any of you using an aftermarket pressure regulator. if so,what pressure do you set it at?

thank you very much

ROBIN

When I ran a Holley, I set it at 7 psi. This was a dual line feed setup with anodized line and steel braded hose. Also, you will need a pump that can keep up. Again, I liked the Holley. First of all its rebuildable and secondly you can change the fitting position on the body to suit any application.

Hope this Helps,

What type (manual or electic) of fuel pump are you using?

If you are running a stock fuel pump, there really isn't anything to regulate.

ROY, i am running a stock (appearing) pump. i cannot tell you if it's a hi-vol since the pump was on wheni bought the vehicle..

Robin,

If you are running a stock fuel pump, no need to regulate it as it already is. On my 78, the excess presure is bled off and returned to the fuel tank. Unless you have radically souped up the engine and need major volume and presure increase, the stock pump is just fine.
