Hood emblem for a 1980 corvette?

Hi,

Got an e-mail today from one of our Corvette Club member. He's looking for a front hood badge or emblem for his 1980 corvette.

Funny but I've looked on Ecklers and Corvette america and can't find one. Was there a nose hood emblem for that year? and if yes, why does anyone have it for sale?

They had some on there last time I looked, it is large I warn you.
Delete all the non relevant years once on ebay and it narrows the search.

as far as I know they are still making them...it's the '81's you can't find any more:ugh

The hood emblems for 1980 (GM# 14016098) are discontinued from GM as of late last year. I sold the last one I had in December. They'll soon be as expensive as the 1981 emblems. I hope somebody steps up and starts reproducing these.
