Hood Light

when i open the hood the hood light doesnt come on... where is the fuse for it,,ideas

Fuse would be an obvious thing to check, but I've noticed on mine that the (for lack of a better term) incline-sensing contact switch controlling the light sometimes sticks. Try rapidly moving the hood up and down a few times to see if that's the culprit. If the switch is working properly, you should be able to hear something moving around as you swing the hood from open to almost closed (and vice versa).

Hmmm. Maybe this is why mine switch is sticking (dirty)...? What did you have to disassemble in order to clean the contacts...? Once apart, what did you use to clean it...?

Spray the connections with electrical cleaner. let dry
