Got the TPIS long tubes and Hot Cam and R&D camber brace in stalled. If you think your LT4 needs a little waking up this will do it HOLLY SH!T.

Outstanding!! Man it really hurt to walk out of the speed shop without the hot cam......Congrats!.

Those headers are freaking beautiful!!!@@%%$$

Just bought a set of hooker super comp. headers for my LT4.They will be here sat.CAN'T WAIT!!!!

I also did the 52mm TB. I picked up another 10HP at the rear for a total 343RWHP. I was running the factory tune at the time. I have since tuned with LT1 edit but have not made it back to the dyno yet.

Enjoy the power! LT4 really needs to breath!!!

So,just the 52mm gave you 10hp at the rear?Or the combo with the headers?I dont have the 52mm yet and its killing me!I know it needs more air,I am curious with all my mods what the gain will be?Mine is running a little rich with the AFPR and 30 # injectors.....I need to dyno tune my car!!!!

52mm

Oh yeah,I forgot to ask, what brand TB did you purchase?Did it have an airfoil?Any idle problems? Thanks!Shannon

The aftermarket TB's usually come with an air foil type of thing already installed.

How much more lift does the hotcam give you?

Stock for the LT4 is 282/277 duration and .476/.479 lift @.050 .....the Hot Cam is 218/228 duration and .525/.525 lift @ .050 plus using the 1.6 rockers raises it slightly to(I'm guessing).567/.567 if my math is right. So,it raises lift approx. .088".And about the airfoil/TB,what about that dude on ebay that mods 48mm TB's to 52mm?Anybody have goodluck/badluck with his stuff?

The stock LT4 & the hot cam are rated with 1.6 rockers.

Alrighty then!There you go!:L :crazy

Sorry for the late reply. I realized 10 more HP with the other modifications (slp intake, hot cam, headers, random cats and corsas). I was running factory tune. A friend had a 52MM BBK in the garage while I was dynoing. I simply bolted his onto the vette while I was still strapped to the dyno. The 10HP ( not 9, not 11) up from 333 to 343 HP really impressed me. I then sent my 48 off to have rebored and then put the airfoil on it. During a later dyno session I still had the same HP as using the BBK TB ealier. So, you can get a 52mm BBK or you can rebore the factory TB to 52mm and you should end up with the same HP. I don't think the airfoil does anything.

I am going out to DRM to get my car dyno tuned. I talked to Doug on the phone about my car sed it's a pice of cake. He sed he still dose all the tunes I think that cool I can't wait to meet one of great corvette legions and to have him tune my car it should be fun.

Cool! Is DRM still in MN? Last I checked, they're not too far from TPIS. It's gotta be awesome to have two great shops so close to each other.

How is your idle quality with the Hot Cam?

And how much was the labor charge if you didn't do it yourself.?

My idle is great even when the air is on just a slite pull. The car sounds real nasty and is. I am not sure about your question but I had long tubes adjustable fuel pressure regulator new timing chane camber brace and cam. Labor was around 2 grand I'm sure I could have done better on the price else where but the shop I took it to is to dose all high end work but it is done rite the first time and he stands behind his work no questions asked
