Please help, Fuse links shorted
Hello guys, I'm having a problem with my '90 vette
To make a long story short, I was driving my car, had the stereo on loud
then the stereo went dead along with the dash and horns :cry . The car continued to run until I turned it off, then it wouldn't start, not even a click, so I had to have it towed.
I ohmed out the fuse links to check if they were blown and they are not, but two of the fuse links are shorted to ground. Also, the ignition switch wires and the small wire to the starter are shorted to ground. The only dash light that is working is the battery indicator light. The windows still work as do the headlights, seats and power locks. The alternator tested good, I checked the fuses on the side of the dash and they are all good :confused .
Any ideas as to what the problem may be or any suggestions as to what else I should look at? Any help is greatly appreciated, as I'm new to the Corvette World. Thanks!
