How did everybody else install these camaro seat belts???

I cannot get the trim piece to even come close to going over the top of these camaro seat belts. Wondered if maybe I bought the wrong ones. As you can see in the pic the trim is about an inch from going back far enough to get the screws into it. How is this supposed to work? Do I cut the panel? If so I probably will have some camaro seat belts for sale...

I installed them in my 71' Vert with no problems. You need the REAR belts from the Camaro.

Now I remember, I had to make the hole in the trim panel bigger.

Thanks for the link. Looks like one guy in that thread just cut the box hole bigger. I don't want to do that but I did figure out that the belt cover can be unscrewed from the backside of the side trim panel so that's what I will try today. Also good info on getting the belt thru the seat hole at the top for an original look.
