Since its modified I could not go by blue book right?

And if its not worth much is it even worth selling? I mean this year is suppose to go up in vaule right?

i guess it would matter how modified it was regarding the overall value. the NADA book (online) would at least give you a starting point. if it's an engine swap out or something simple like that you should be able to factor that into the "book" value. if it's something like extensive body alteration, then it just becomes worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it i would guess.

just my opinion however as to how to value it.

Put it on EBay and see what they will bid for it. Just put it out there with an unreal reserve so that it will not be met, unless you may want to sell it if the price gets up there. Will cost you the EBay listing fee but is less than the cost of an appraisal.

tom...

you can post it on ebay for about $40-45 bucks. if it sells, it's another 40 bucks, but it won't so don't worry about it. Post lots of pictures, and give a really detailed description. you'll get it bid up to what the market will pay, it's a great idea.
