Hi. I'm new to this site, and I think it's great. Someone referred me here because they thought they saw information on how to get a copy of your original invoice from a division of GM. Does anyone know anything about that? Some info or a link would really be appreciated. I'd also like to know if it's possible to get a copy of my original build sheet as well. My car is a 69. Thanks in advance.

Hi Jeryst.. Welcome to the :CAC !

Here is a link to a thread we had about the Sales Invoice..
http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=77036&highlight=sales+invoice

Please see the links in that thread also, it gives some more info..
Bottom line is, now it costs $50, but i am not 100% if a 1969 info get be had.

PS: As to the built sheet: I am under the impression they are lost before 1981, but hopefully someone with more knowledge will chime in in a bit..

AND here is another Thread I don't think they go back after 1977 :eek but it may be worth a try ;) Also they no longer provide this information for FREE I think I read somewhere that it is now $50 ;)

Thanks guys. I'll give it a shot.

If anyone out there has been successful at getting this info for a Vette older than a 77, let me know what you did. Thanks.

Other than looking to see if you still have a tank sticker I don't think you will find this info for a 69.

I'll save you some trouble- there's nothing available for anything older than a '77. There's rumours that surface every now and then about older stuff surfacing but there's no merit to them.

Sorry.

The search ends

Here is the reply that I received after looking into the invoice issue... I have the form, but it is too big to attach. I will email it to anyone interested in getting a copy of the form.
