You know, they're bright white when you are parked & orange indirect when you are driving. Two sets of bulbs? Colored lenses? Magic?

I have wondered that also. However I am having the problem of my lights staying on for about 10 minutes when it is either real hot or if it has been raining..... not sure what causes it or how to fix it...

Stuck relay? Try to figure which relay it is & bang on it.

Hey CLABORN1960,

regarding your comment about your lights staying on for about 10 minutes, it sounds like your door 'ajar' switch is failing/getting water in it.

When it happens, does the alarm also not set and the radio/windows keep working, along with the PKE not working correctly for the same "about 10 minutes" (the 'timeout' time built into the car)? If so, you've heading for the same problem we had with our 94 (failed door 'ajar' switches -- both of them).

Suggest changing the switches (can be done right through their hole without taking the whole door apart -- see the manual).

They are about $20 from the dealer (but watch out, GM's manufacturer of these has a problem -- we had 5 bad ones -- so double-check to make sure they don't stick and are correctly assembled to their 'mounting-plate' so water can't get in).

Also, on the interior light color's -- it's two bulbs through different lenses -- e.g. in the door above the door handle (just replaced one of them).
