I'm asking this in regards to the chrome bumpers on the new tahoe we just bought. Do you wax it? What do you use to clean and protect it? Also does anyone hav a car with the "fake" plastic crome grilles? what do you use on that?
Thanks for your help.

Bob,

The "real" chrome on my Shark is kept shiny with Eagle-1 Never-Dull (it's spelled oddly on the container). It comes in a small silver can about 3 inches X 3 inches. The can is filled with batting; you tear off a small piece and rub it on the chrome then buff with a soft towel.

Can't help you with the "fake" stuff.

I use the never -dull too, but for my crome wheels I use soap and water ,and then use Meguers mist and wipe. I tell you another trick. Use the never dull on your aluminum a/c lines, throtle body, belt tensioner etc. After a few times they will look like crome.
