How Durable is the Drivetrain?

my question is how much will the tranny and rearend put up with befor desiding not to play along? The car is a 85 4+3. I plan on getting a set of retro 17inch rims for it and run a 315 in the back. For the motor it will eather be a built 350 or a built 400. Est hp 400+.

What do you all think?

The rear end will be fine. Don't know about the 4+3, but I think it should be OK.
