How easy is it to remove the steering wheel from an 87?

I'd like to get my steering wheel recovered, but need to remove it first. Anyone had any experience undertaking this job? Do you need any specialized tools?

Yes you do need a puller...

To bad you don't have AutoZone in Canada...they would loan you the tool

You can buy a puller for very little money, <$20. Just make sure that you have an index mark so that you line it up right when you go to put it on.
