Does anybody have any idea what CFM my Rochester carb is, from the factory. 1972, 454, 4-SPD, 270HP. Or does anybody know where I can go to look that up? Thanks a bunch :D

The stock carb for that car should be a 4MV which is 750 cfm. :)

Aren't all Qjets rated at 750 CFM? I believe they are all capable of delivering 750CFM IFFF (big if) the engine requires it. Most 350's can only really use around 500 CFM, so that is what the qjet will dish out. Only what is necessary.

Of course, I have been known to be wrong from time to time :pat: THe 454 would use more of the 750

I can tell you that the 454 definitely uses more fuel :mad . But is sure is fun to drive. Thanks for the help.
