Rear passeneger side half shaft inner u joint needs to be replaced and its too big a job to do on my back in my drive way. I'm gonna have both joints on the rear passenger side done, how many hours labor should I expect to pay? The parts are only 30 bucks

I recently did this job on my '84, and it was easier than I expected. I think it took me less than three hours. Fortunately, I do have a very large vise, which was a big help. A pro should be able to do it much faster. Good luck!

Its not difficult at all

All you need is a jack, jack-stands and tools. Laying under the car is 100% optional.

Pull wheel, get situated in front of that and reach in. Its not far at all...
remove U-joint bolts, pull OUT on hub slightly, the half shaft falls to the ground.

There are 2 joints to each side, around $25-$30 each. A total of 6 per car. 2 for driveshaft, 4 for halfshafts.

Roy is about right....2-3 hrs for the one side, <2 hrs for the other, once you've done it, its easy.
