Hello Canuckian! Welcome to :CAC

Not enough info to work with. I take it we are talking Canadian dollars? Mac will likely step in on this one as he has one. He is on the road working off a laptop I think so it may take a bit...
Others will chime in if you elaborate!

A couple of "perfect" 73s recently sold for $35,000. One at Bloomington Gold for $35,000 (look here) and one at RM Classic Car Auction, Phoenix (L82 4-speed) for $35,750. Both were convertibles.

73 values

I paid $9500 for my 73 L-48 coupe, the body was in great shape, but it just needed to be cleaned up.

Good luck

That link doesn't go anywhere. Can you repost it?

I tried a search of Trader and found a white coupe for $25,000. Is that the one? Is the $25,000 Candan Dollars? What would that be US.

Most prices guides list an L48/auto coupe at a max of about $17,000 - $18,000 US. That is for a fully restored, numbers matching car with NO wear.

This one says it has basecoat/clearcoat paint which would be a negative in terms of show. Also says it has the factory alumn wheels. Only four 73s left the factory with those. Would need documentation showing that they are original. Also does not mention matching numbers or not.

So I would say that the $17,000 US would be the highest to consider, maybe $3,000 less because of the paint. If the car is fully documented with original engine and the wheels ARE in fact original then you may want to push the $17.

Gave $10000(US) for mine...had it appraised at $13,500 1 yr later...70000 original miles L-48 coupe.

Is it a drop top of T- top? What options does it have? You need to supply more info to get a realistic idea of value.

I suspect this is it.

I suspect that this is really "George the Troll" of Corvette Forum fame.

Do a search over there on the C3 section to see how many times and why he's been kicked out.

He asked the same questions about a supposed perfect '73 L-48 coupe last week using the name Faster & Faster before he got the boot.

If not, and I'm mistaken about identities, my humble apologies! The car is worth about 10K CDN. :beer

I just sold a BB 73 Vette for $18,000 appraised at $26,500. Appraised $$$ mean squat when selling in the real world.

My brother bought his 68 427 vert for around $15K US so I,m sure there are some out there cheaper. There was a 73 in North Bay a couple months ago for about $8K US and it looked good from a drive-by...

Thank-you that is the one. The Guy is asking $25,000 Canadian or $19,500 US$

Note the exhaust is quite black, I will bet that it still has the old rotten L-48 engine. It could use a rebuild thats another $3,000 If the guy thinks that he can sell that for 25K plus $3k for engine rebuild. He will have to find some Moron with cash.

Do you have a number for the 73 BB in North Bay. It may be something I would look at if it hasen't been modified " Body-Wise"
