The 3rd member supplier told me to add it up to the fill hole level.....well, there is only one hole on the differential and it looks more like a drain hole than a fill hole.....it is on the bottom of the housing.....so do I just poor the 3 quarts of lube plus the 4 ozs of posi lube into the housing and put the 3rd member in and button it up????????

thoughts?

notice in the photo below that there is no fill opening up high.....there is a drain plug in the very bottom....

no, it is my '60 C1 frame......the front and rear suspension pieces have been changed out to Jim Myers racing parts.....front will have rack and pinion steering, coil over shocks and disc brakes....rear will have 4 link rear with 3.55 posi, coil over shocks and disc brakes.......383 stroker motor and Classic Chevy 5 Speed TKO600 tranny......

...good call....I am on vacation and found some old photos I had previously posted.....thanks....there it is.....Randy's Ring and Pinion told me to fill to that level....run the car, then recheck and add as necessary as some of the oil would have found its way into bearings and such.....thanks!!!
