How to do a proper coolant flush on a L98

Is there a KS, and if so, where is it located ?? and how do you get all the air pockets out, Its coming winter time and I do not know if it has ever been flushed it its life time.. 1987 c4 with 12,800 miles. Been in a collectors car collection.

There is a KS. It is on the right side of the block. On the left side there should be a nipple with a hose that goes to the oil filter/cooler. Those 2 have to come off in flushing. I didn't and did the regular flush and thought I got everything. Bad move.
