How to fix your turn signal housing that leak

My 2001 Coupe had a problem, the turn signal/DRL bulb busted the 2nd time in a few months due to water getting in the housing. I pulled it off the car and sealed the hole with some JB Weld. Here's some pics I took while doing it...

Saw the spring hanging down in two fo the pictures. What does the spring connect to? I did the repair and found them on the floor after "everything??" was put together.:W

Good job of working out this problem. I have replaced so many bulbs on the right side of my 2002, that I carry several extras, and can change them out in the dark. Now I know how to fix it. Thank you.
