I thought it was interesting on how to make your Vette lighter. If you were racing this would be cool but at the second line from the bottom of the page was the real bottom line.

Well so far I removed the spare tire, carrier and jack. Can of inflate it and cell phone are lighter. Considering alum. heads when I up-grade.

Thats pretty cool. I was shooting for around 3000lbs with creature comforts but I don't know if I would lose weight and sacrifice safety.

There is also using a later year windshield, just as someone else pointed out, the 80->82 models used a thinner windshield.

Going to print that out and save it!!
