Hi I dropped my corvette using the lowering wedges and by cutting the end rubber off spring. I setup the spring ends w/ adjustable bolts to give just enough height adjustment to scale car for autocross. I have a problem with the drivers side being one inch taller than other side[ground to fenderlip] with no adjustment bolts in. after fighting this a long time I called one of the big race shops and talked to their chassis guy, he said my problem might be because I did not use any shims above the wedges when I put spring in. He said the spring was most likely flattened out against the top of spring tunnel making the spring stiffer. I checked it is flattened out all the way across. I did not have any shims to start with and thought that would just raise the car more so I skipped them. If they have to be there to make the spring ark how many do you have to use? Just enough to get the spring to not touch in middle? Factory manual says my year car came with either no shims, 2 shims, or 3 shims per retainer side. How do guys who use no wedges to really drop it do this? Thanks Tim
