If you ever need to tow your vette where do you tie up the towrope? The C4 doesn´t have a loop in front like the C5, and the manual instruction seems awkward on a dark night on the roads.

The C4 has the factory tie-downs located on the frame rails, just about at the rear of the front tires. There is one on each side; I used them when I loaded my Vette onto the trailer and also to tie it down when traveling on the trailer.

Colin, how is that picture supposed to show the tow hook location? :L

Is it possible to use these tie-downs if your towing using another vehicle, not using a trailer. I mean wouldn´t the front spoiler be in the way of the rope!

It's not Ken. That was the point :L I'm not sure I'd be comfortable moving the car other than a VERY short distance via a tow strap or chain

As Colin pointed out, I wouldn't want to flat-tow a Corvette for any distance - period. ;)
