Take the challenge here Racing Buff's.

I was digging through my filing cabinet and came across a couple pictures dating back to the 1963 Daytona Contential races Feb 16, and 17th.
Here's a picture of the boy's at the driver's meeting, and another of the 1 st race Feb 16th , 1963.
Lets see how many of the driver's you can get right.

Great pictures. I wasn't too familiar with the sport car drivers back then; mostly the Indy car guys. Some in that picture look familiar though. I'd have to do a little research to put the right names with their faces.

Click on the pictures of the cars and read to the left, most of the names are there except those who raced the second race and cars not pictured. Thrid from the bottom is Roger Penske though, and hiding behind Roger was Doc Alan Wylie, also Dick Lang and Tom Russo.
OK I can't stand it, Thats Don Yenko on the very bottom and next up is Dr. Dick Thompson, Roger Penske, Billy Krause, Jerry Grant, Ralph Salyer, Bobby Brown, Doug Hooper, Ed Cantrell and at the very top right, AJ Foyt.
When will there ever be another picture like this ever been seen?
