well i just got done painting my car in my garage (poor mans booth) So now with the new paint i don't want to be pushing it around, but to drive the car i need to get the shifter on the trani. I have a HURST SUPER SHIFTER but i noticed it sits up a little to high, or atleast it looks that way. It could be just that my center consol piece is broken.... but Has anyone got the super shifter to work before? I really don't want to shell out $360 for a new competition plus package.

here's a pic of the poor man paint job

The Comp + package fits like a glove. Everything else I checked out said it would not fit without mods. What does Hurst say??

not sure i have not checked with hurst yet. I will probably just get the comp+
