Heater & AC Control Module Assembly
Greetings one and all; Ok... a new problem has arisen with my 1985 which is insufficient airflow volume through use of the HVAC Blower Motor. My AC is cool and working properly however, direction of that airflow seems NOT to be working properly. Now, I should be able to turn the Defrost airflow completely off... with the control head unit shouldn't I? No matter what setting I have it on, I cannot eliminate the airflow from coming out of the Defrost, hence I am losing some cfm from the floor and the vents if I so chose that setting. Before I start changing out vaccum motors, could this be a faulty AC control head problem? If I remove the Stereo head unit I can see behind the AC control head fairly well and I don't see any disconnected vaccum lines from back of the control head but haven't pulled the head unit out yet either... anyone have an idea of the best place to start?
