HVAC control light issue

One problem I was aware of on the new Corvette I picked up yesterday was the lights in the HVAC controls sometimes work and sometimes don't. Some of the backlights on the buttons and dials work. The digital display is hit or miss. I'm hoping it is just a loose connection somewhere.

I've already discovered what I need to do to at least access this panel.

My question is... if it is just a matter of replacing lamps, is this something that can be done, or do I need a new control unit?

If the LED displays comes and goes the head unit must be replaced.

You can change the other bulbs, if you can find replacements. They are soldered to the board.

If this is in fact the case, does anyone know on average how much these units cost?
