Actually, that track is in Germany. Top Gear used it a couple of years ago to test Bugatti's claim that the Veyron would, in fact, do 253 Miles Per Hour, and it did. The track has some sixty miles of road, and it was built close to the old East German border in a no-fly zone to keep prying eyes away on prototype projects.

Nope, the ZR-1 is much faster.. This car has the LS2 engine with a little over 400HP. The site claims the top speed was 300kph, but that only calculates to be only 186.4 mph. I would think this Corvette could go faster than that??

so......being an officer and a gentleman, you made friendly with a german officer who has a cousin that is the guy in charge of the track, and for a six pack of schlitz he let you do a lap
