How do you suppose I took these photos today?

The light spots on the black frame are evidence of getting caught in a brief rainshower the other day. Like I said, this is a driver.

While the very long rebuild process was going on, I went in to my local Mr. Lube with my daily drivers, all the while imagining how different my reception would be if I had brought in the completed project.

So, as an exception to my rule of doing my own L.O.F., that is exactly what I did this afternoon.

You can imagine the reaction.

It's all about good fun, and I had a great time answering questions. They took extra care and spent over an hour going over and under the car. Yes, I double-checked everything.

It really was an enjoyable hour. When customers pull in, a young female employee walks around and cleans the windows, opens all the doors and sprays lubricant on the hinges, etc. She walked up to me and said, "You don't want me to touch it, do you." :confused

I said, "How did you know that, young lady?"

Her response. "When the guys all start going.........Ooooooooo.........Ahhhhhh......I know enough to ask."
