on the way home the other night i was driving peacefully ( & safely) and as i was round a curve, a cat ran out in front of me. i can it can be repaired easily but it still gets the best of me...i was working my way towards some ceramic coated hooker super comps but now it looks like those funds will go to repair this...

Would you say the majority of Corvette owners love or hate cats?

I am a bird lover myself.

Just wondering, what damage did the cat have?
I am a Z06 refugee visiting the C3 board and saw this interesting thread.

What do you think the front of a Z06 would do to the kitty kat?

Oh speaking of birds, here is mine!
And yes, there is damage to my vette!!!! Story posted in Z06 forum....
Damage not from a cat though!

Speaking of C3's, I love the 1968!!!!!

Well here is the bird and scratch!

Mr 74, should you decide to replace the spoiler ,let me know. i'd like to work something out for your pieces. i have a design idea i'd like to try out, before i ruin a new one.

Robin

p.s. a good cat is an inert cat

By the way, you have an awesome red corvette there!!!!!!

Glad the damage was minor!!!!!

I was a teenager and I was with this girl in her basement(trying to get lucky). We start to go at it and the next thing I know , her cat jumps off the windowsill on to my back. The puddie cat scare the living#@$T out of me. I've never liked a cat since. I could never understand why they called them ***** cats? Never had the occasion to run over a cat- but wouldn't wreck my vette to get away from one either............ Sorry animal rights activists.

guess i shouldn't mention my CO2 pellet rifle with the scope on it......

Okay 1974's vette stood pretty strong up to a cat!
I have a challenge for the 1974 C3 model. Do you think it is up for the challenge?

What would such a corvette do against a deer?
Take a look what it did to a jeep. Would a C3 body give a deer a run for its money?

maybe the deer would leap OVER THE c3? or just stare in awe of the fine automobile

I once almost struck a deer. Luckily it moved!
The C3 looks like a bullet and I think it would take out the deer!

The deer would probably slide right up the hood and come thru the windshield. If you are lucky it would be dead. If unlucky, the deer would thrash around in that confined space with you. You can imagine the result. I try to be very alert when I see deer crossing signs at night.

What was that movie with David Spade and Chris Farley that had the deer wake up?
LOL

Wasn't a C3 vette though.....
