I have a skip that won't go away...any pointers.

I changed out the plugs today and it seemed to make the skip worst.

My guess would be something to do with either the wires or distributor itself. I checked the distributor and it looks ok. I checked the cap and thats looks ok too. I have a new distributor on order and plan on replacing the whole thing, distributor, cap, rotor, ignition module... the whole thing. If anybody can think of something I can do in the meantime while I wait for it, please chime in.

Wires... unless you have new wires on it. Think about it , you messed with the wires now it is worse.

FOUND IT!!!...sometimes its the simple things!

Yeh, a PLUG....yep thats right brand new plug that was installed was faulty. I noticed it arching when i turned the lights off. There must of been a hairline crack in the porcelain. GO FIGURE....:smash:
 
Good to see you found it. That could have cost a lot of time and money if you hadn't noticed that.
