...for this time.

The night before this happend.....I was travelling home @ a speed of more than 115 mph....and got the car towed in the morning because of a very scary noise...

On my right halfshaft all four screws went.....imagine this happening at that speed !

Hard to believe...but that was a shops work. They did the alignment....four grade 3 screws that had to be grade 6.

whoa... bet you have a strange feeling right now. When I first got the car I went through it and checked every bolt - found a few loose at the halfshaft flange and noticed that they were grade 3 (no head markings). Replaced them with grade 5 (3 marks on the head)
Beware - Bubba is everywhere.

What sheared them a holeshot?

WOW that is some scary stuff thinking that half shaft bouncing around tearing up fiber glass and what ever else came in contact with it.

And are you sure the alignment shop would replace them.I cant think of why a half shaft would be touched in a wheel alignment.

Might as well just go to grade 8 bolts. Glad you are OK. Were you on the Autobahn when you were doing 115 MPH

I share IH2Lose's curiosity - what alignment function requires a shop to replace those screws? I am not a doubter, only curious . . .

Yes...straight road, three lines, no speed limit.

Well....trailingarms has been replaced.....things had to be adjusted and bolts had been replaced as french locks had been added.

That´s all....
