Went to Ocean City (MD) for last weekend, and with the nice weather I saw representatives of all 6 generations of Vette. Unfortunately the midyear was on a truck being delivered somewhere, but I did see one... All the rest (even the 57) were being driven. And C5's were as common as mustangs. And no it wasn't a cruise-in like we were lucky enough to hit one year.

Vette Season

It is finally really Vette season here too. Made a beer run from Denver to Cheyenne and back this Saturday. Had a couple stops on the way up and went the back way. Saw C5s, C4s and C3s on the road and went past a Vette gathering of some sort in Longmont. Maybe 200 or so. No time to stop. 234 miles round trip, 24 MPG, short bursts of triple digit fun:lou and two cases of Moose Drool in the fridge. What a day! What a car!:D :upthumbs :beer

Was downy o shun myself mothers day weekend. Saw mucho vettes and every body waved.

Man that would have been nice.

I took a drive up to Hershey PA to the AACA Museum to check out their “Corvette: Collecting the Legend” display.

It is awesome!!! I recommend it big time, and it is a nice drive too. :upthumbs

Spring and Fall on the upper east coast can't be beat :beer Rich, I've been in Glen Bernie many times. The Capital is just incredible this time of year with the flowering (?) Cherry trees, but my favorite trip was sailing a nice 28 footer in the Chesapeeke, 12 knots kicks A$$ :r

Wait! That lightning storm crossing the CBB was also FANTASTIC! I love and miss the great T&L storms from that area of the country :cool

Never did drive a Vette there though :L BTW, if I recall correctly, Rte 2 just sucks, I'm sure it's worse now, nevermind the beltway ;LOL

I don't know what all the hub bub is about. We've had vette weather here for close to two months already....;LOL

Of course when your vette is in your garage with fresh paint on the nose, nice weather really doesn't matter.....does it...:)

Yeah....weather is so nice in the south. Sometimes I wish I lived there. NJ is so freakin cold in the winter. The weather now is heaven and definitely top off. I wait for this time of year!

I checked with the govenors office and they said we have an opening....c'mon down...:)

ps: Our worst road is still smoother then the NJTP :)

Moonunit, we avoid Rt. 2 at all costs... except that's where Mic's shop is located (just north of Severna Park) so it's impossible to completely bypass it.

Beltway has gotten better in some areas (widening) and worse in others (more houses).

And Nyernga, when the humidity in GA has you drowning between the house and garage, I'll laugh... 'cause in Baltimore, while we do get that occasionally, we wait 5 minutes and the weather changes to something else!

You have to wait that long ? You should move to Iowa. We don't know from one min to the next what the weather will be. ;LOL;LOL;LOL

I thought sunday looked like a good Vette day, I got about 80 miles from home and got caught in a rainstorm that just let up today, (thursday) although it has given me allot of time to clean the road mud off of it. This weekend is perdicted to be good but I am not takeing any chances I am going 4x4ing

This past weekend in NJ was predicted to be rainy. It was the best vette weekend we had so far. We even went to the shore...beauitiful! That's how they forecast weather here....always wrong! That's another story...:L

Ken if you are a Baltimore native, you mow the lawn with a paramour, you wash your hands in the zinc and if you want to relax you go downy O shun hon (Down the Ocean ).Speaking thusly is know affectionately as Baltimorese. Sorry to confuse . Bruce

it's not a bad area. it keeps calling me back every time i leave. has everything i like. city, country, ocean, mountains, and even snow. i can jump on the highway about a mile from my house and be anywhere in the balto washington area in 45 mins. roads are in pretty good shape compared to other parts of the country so to me these roads are made for vettes :D

i like ritchie highway. i get all my kills going to the shop then to the bank and back home for lunch i can get 5 or so kills! :L

unfortunatly if it's Corvette weather it's also Fishing weather. drag racing and owning a tackle shop doesnt mix!.......lol

Rich,

this weekend was the weekend to go..... it is Hot Rod week! :D wish i could go :( i will for the October one ;) i should tear you away for the weekend and go with me :beer

RICHR, you should have been in OC this past weekend: Cruzin' OC with more than 3000 hot rods, street rods, muscle cars, Vettes, and you name it, all cruising up and down Ocean Highway on Friday (even in that monsoon), Saturday and Sunday. Also cruising down the boardwalk on Friday and Saturday, and shows at the Inlet parking lot with lots of vendors, and at the Convention Center, too. It was one of the most wild car weekends I have ever seen. The next one is the weekend after Corvettes on the Boardwalk.

Just got back From a weekend at the track, I'll be posting on that, LONG day, though, in the eliminations for me! :r :beer :D

We were there a couple years ago for the Corvettes on the Boardwalk thingy just by luck. Went up to the park on 127th bayside and it was wall-to-wall Vettes. Awesome!
