Went to Bob McDorman's Vette show today and what did I see in one of his barns, The silver speedster with the light blue interior. As you can tell I was pretty pumped about this!!! One down, 10 more to see...... is that right? Was there one 11 produced????

Waaay cool dood! If he woulda let you take it for a ride I woulda asked you to shoot on over to pick me up! :L

I love that Speedster too. I took many pictures of it when it was at CorvetteMike's show room 1.5 years ago and then again at Carlisle last year.

I love the way the rear end on that beast is so polished. Reuben, I hope you looked underneath.

That's VERY cool - Closest thing I came to seeing a Speedster Sat was in magazines - Found a bunch of old magazines containing ads for various tires incl. BFG TA's w/ the magenta Speedster, a Nitto tire ad w/ an aero vert and a Bridgestone ad w/ "Run Flat" technology (introduction)

I recall seeing that Speedster back in either 98 or 99 at Carlisle and a few other times since - Think it used to be owned by a guy in PA... Nice pics :cool

The fun part about living in Columbus is that Bob McDorman is just right down the road! Yeah, Bob and I are good buds... he lets me take that bad boy out on Sunday's usually, go cruisin' for chicks... okay, actually that's not all true. Actually on the part about me living in Columbus is true.

Well that and I did see that speedster at the Columbus International Car show this past year and although it was on the other side of the ropes, I almost risked all penalties and jumped in just to see how fast it felt even just standing still!

I know the Silver Speedster was in the Otis Chandler Museum in Oxnard, CA prior to being at Carlisle last year. It was very cool to see it and I have LOTS of pics. I've got about 5 of the underside and about 10-12 others.

As I recall it sold in the low six figures but I didn't know to whom.

I too love Silver Aerobody cars. I like to think of mine as the practical Speedster because it actually has a top! :)

90Callaway, You do have an awesome looking Callaway! I enjoyed the story of your car that you wrote for being the Callaway of the month!

Coooool!! Here is a pic of the OZ's the silver one is wearing. By the way, what # is the one in my pictures??
