Well, tonight I sold my '75. After thinking about it for a while, I decided it was the right thing to do, so I put an ad in the local rag and let her go this evening to a very nice fellow in a neighboring town. He'll pick it up tomorrow evening at 6 o'clock. I truly believe that he and his wife will provide my baby a good home.

In some ways, I hate to see her go. She's been very good to me in the time that I have owned her. I have spent many an hour out there in that garage tinkering with this, rebuilding that. I feel like she's given me much more that I have given her.

This does however free up valuable garage space for my other classic, the '68 bird 400.

I want everyone here to know that from the beginning when I joined the forum, I have found you folks to be friendly and helpful. I feel like I have found a whole bunch of friends here. Thank you all for being there for me. And thank you for being there for each other. The future may hold another Vette for me. My youngest son keeps telling me that he is going to buy me a brand new one some day. :L

I will hang around here from time to time, so I hope to see you all. Take care and God bless.

Ron

Sorry to see your '75 go...

...but it sounds like you found her a good home.

Don't be a stranger, you're always welcome here and we'd be interested in seeing your 'bird project flying along.

I can't believe it!! The guy called me last night to tell me that he would be over at 6 tonight with a cashier's check. I was out to dinner at the moment, so I didn't insist on a deposit.

Well, that came back to bite me in the butt . . . buyer's remorse I guess, but the guy called me back today and backed out. That really fries me, because now I have to start over again. That's what I get for trusting people.

Sooner or later though, this guy is going to find out that the deal I was giving him was a good one. So I guess my consolation is that he'll regret it at some point.

So long story short, I still have the '75 . . . for now . . . but hopefully not for long . . .

Heidi, I'll try to shoot a few pictures of the bird at some point and post them. Seems like there aren't a ton of 68 400's around anymore . . .

Ron, how much are you selling the Vette for?

Thanks,

LARRY :cool
