I want a 1979 black exterior / beige interior AT

I have my heart set on buying a 1979 black exterior / beige interior automatic transmission vette in good condition. Anyone out there know of any possible leads?

Well how much does your heart want to spend? I know of someone that has a '79 with doeskin interior in good shape.. but it's not black.

My wallet follows my heart... and my heart is set on a black exterior with the light beige (doeskin, tan) interior. Thanks for the offer for something different, but black it must be.

Your heart could get you in trouble! Personally, I've never seen a '79 black with doeskin interior. From what I've seen, a lot of the black (and red) cars have been more torn up than white or beige ones. I guess it has something to do with black being a badazz color or something...

Find the car in the best mechanical condition possible, no matter what color it may be. Don't get stuck on black -- a car can always be repainted in the color of your choice, and it's a lot easier than some of the repairs you might face...
