Idle Settings

Guys,
I recently sent my car in to get its 60K tuneup. When I got the car back the idle seems to be right at about 1300-1500 when in park. Is this normal or should I take the car back?

It should be around 650. I'd take it back before you yank a u-joint out of her..... Bob Yates

high idle

check your elec. conectors... maf, iac, tps, if one of these is disconected it could cause high idle.... let me know..good luck.

Make sure all your vacuum hoses are connected.

Yea, thats way to high.... I had the same problem and I can almost garuntee its your vacuum hoses. When I checked mine, there were 3 of them disconnected! I plugged em in and its fine now. I still should replace some of them, they are 19yrs old and some come on and off very easily.
