I just got into a bunch of heated emails with someone at this address
treada@msn.com name was Robert Lee user name on ebay was "daverocks"

The seller would only take a bank wire transfer that was to a bank in prauge "yeah right"!!
I keep going back and forth with this guy Then I get a I from corvetteforum member he said he would go and look at the motor and tranny for me and the seller says this.

Hello

Pick up is impossible, because engine is located on the warehouse in
and I
haven't access to this warehouse. This warehouse is secured and I
haven't
free entrance. If you will arrive to me and you'll give me your money,
I
can't give engine. Is one way for you to receive corvette engine, it's
wiring of the payment to the bank account of my supplier. When your
payment
arrive, engine will be shipped immediately. I'm just seller in the
internet
and I haven't any rights to change any rules to give you sled before
payment
arrive.

Email me back.

Now I told him to give me a address after that email I said there aint nothing that you cant get to and see something if its yours and the guy emails me back that is was SOLD! :mad Im so ****ed this is so messed up!

No I emailed him from another email and im told that the engine is available and I asked again if I could come see it and I was told that He cant get to the motor because it is in a warehouse and he cant get to it????

Stay away from this person!

Man that guy sounds shady!! $3000 for an LT5 with only 300 miles??? I guess this is a perfect example of the old saying, "if it sounds to good to be true then it probably is."

That sucks....

This is what was sent to me from the eBayer daverocks. That is why the other person says not to send email through eBay. It is to bad that we have to put up with people like this. Just thought that I would share the info that I received from Dave the real eBayer also he has great feedback.

NO, This auction is NOT mine. Someone stole
my ID and ran the auction under my name. That is
why they wanted teh money sent thru a bank transfer and
not thru paypal, which I always use. Sorry, it sounds like
a heck of an engine. But it is NOT mine. Dave

That's crazy! I noticed his feedback rating was 100% and thought that was kind of strange! Oh well.....
