I was having Mike tackle a low speed drivability issue on my car. He said leaded gas is probably the culprit. As we all know leaded gas can/will damage your O2 sensor. I figured as I was running no cats, plus the extra heat supplied by the turbos Id be ok. I was right and wrong. Since Matt pretty much only uses his B2k to race it works out fine, my car is the same way.
Anytime Id been driving for an extended period on the highway or boosting, it would idle fine. But it was the putting around town that was giving me all the problems. Kick the AC on and the car would stall at a red light.....not fun.
Next issue, the EGR valve was sticking. Could this be caused by leaded gas? I'll probably cap it off when I do my manifold swap.
So anyway Im going to have a new O2 sensor put in and I guess from now on I'll only run 100 unleaded instead of the 110 leaded I was getting for the same price.
