I'm getting ready to weld in...

...the VBandP Spreader Bar between the front shock towers.

It's a tight squeeze in there, even with the twin DeWitt's electric fans. Have any C3 big block owners here done it? Got photos?

The welding is between the actual spread-bar hardware and the bracket that bolts onto the upper A-arm bolts.

It comes unwelded so that you can position it according to the rad / pulley combo in use.

I am not really any help to you but I have the spreader bar in my SB. Mine was the prewelded kind and I have electric fans. For me it was just a bolt in operation. Only took about an hour. I added this link so those who may be wondering about the spreader bar. I wrote this about a year ago or so.

Thanks Eddie 70. It looked to me that the only way to fit it in there (C2 big-block) was to place the heim joint directly in front of the bolt, which is how it worked out on yours as well. Thanks.

MIne was the same way as eddies setup.small block
